Happy Buddha Day (Vesak)

It's sometimes celebrated on fixed dates but otherwise it is celebrated on the first full moon of May. Some light a candle, circle an alter with incense, meditate, fast, etc. Those are all appropriate and can be very helpful in cultivating a sense of respect and commemoration. But to truly commemorate the teacher and the teachings of Buddhism, be kind, thoughful, compassionate, humble, and generous to everyone you meet, including yourself!

Amitabha.
