An area Buddhist who goes by the name of TinyThinker was mildly amused on Thursday by the discovery of a new blog which uses satire to address issues within the modern Buddhist community called Big Red Buddha.
"It's like...funny, you know? I mean, a lot of us have talked before about things like retreats which cost a fortune for rich white (collar) people who want to de-stress and have a sense of spiritual renewal that fits with their busy schedule, but when BRB does it, I mean, it's a lot funnier."
When asked if he would consider reading Big Red Buddha on a regular basis, Tiny replied, "Probably."
