Laying down my heart's burdens
I find the strength to carry them
Dropping a swagger of arrogance
I pick up a confident stride
Surrendering my hard earned pride
I gain a sense of true self-esteem
Letting go of my programmed self
I find a sense of who I am
Seeing others as myself
my own worth is increased
With joy and suffering as teachers
compassion and wisdom blossom
Through acceptance
emptiness
form
nirvana
