Senator Tim Johnson had a blood vessel rupture yesterday and was rushed to the hospital. Cable news pundits tried to make it about the 'balance of power' in the Senate should Johnson die. Some of their guests tried to dismiss such talk and focus on well-wishing/praying for the Senator and his family. I saw one pundit keep at it though - "but, looking at the big picture..." blah blah blah about 51-49 difference between Democrats and Republicans, etc.
No.
That is the little picture.
The big picture *is* a sick man and his worried family and friends.
Blessing and metta to them.
